I have created an ACT and a SAT curriculum based off training I received from Princeton Review and from my eight years of tutoring experience in test prep. The curriculum is strategy focused, so students can beat the test's tricks. I have nine years of subject based tutoring to help your student with nearly any school subject. I customize all my tutoring to the student and family's needs. I have tutored math, reading, science, study skills and ACT/SAT prep. I assist in recruiting tutors and marketing for new students. 12/2009 – 12/2012 Teacher Minact – Job Corps (KCATL) Kansas City, Missouri I substitute taught for all areas of the center. I assisted the students through their self paced programs, graded papers and effectively enforced center policies and management. I assisted with reading, math, medical office support, pharmacy technology and nursing. 11/2007 – 1/2012 District Manager Primerica Lenexa, Kansas I assisted and educated clients by creating a financial needs analysis, showing them how to purchase necessary life insurance and to discover how to make their financial plans a reality. I also assisted with hiring and training of new representatives. I managed 5-10 people throughout my career. 8/2008 – 5/2009 Teacher Maranatha Academy Shawnee, Kansas I created and taught an art curriculum to Kindergarten through second grade students. I developed the curriculum from the Monart method. The students enjoyed the class and produced beautiful art pieces. They also learned confidence by accomplishing difficult tasks. 8/2006 – 5/2009 Teacher/ Tutor Princeton Review Chicago, Illinois I taught ACT preparation classes to high school students from the Kauffman Scholars Program. I prepared lessons from the curriculum for each class. I also oversaw the work of a small team of tutors.
